When posting a new post, or editing an existing post, on a System Blog, you may see an error message:
An unexpected error has occurred.
In these cases, the browser developer console may also display a
500 Internal Server Error as shown below.
Check if the blog is a system blog since this issue only occurs with system blogs for Jive Cloud instances.
- Browse to Admin Console > Blogs > System Blogs.
- The affected blog should be listed here.
This issue was identified as a bug and resolved in Jive Cloud release 3006.8 with the issue key JVCLD-150631 (release notes on Worx). While the Cloud upgrades are automatically deployed, if you haven't yet been upgraded or have chosen to stay on an earlier version and now would like to upgrade, please get in touch with your Account Manager/Executive to arrange for the upgrade.
