You have created a new Group in your Jive instance but when you go to set the 'Select Place' for the new Group it does not list the Group in the options. This issue may suddenly appear after working without issues in the past.
To resolve this issue you will need to rebuild the content index for Search and Recommender, then clear the application cache for your Jive instance.
- Follow the steps in the How to Manually Rebuild (Reindex) or Update the Content Search Index making sure to select both Search and Recommender
- Follow the steps in the Clearing the System and Application Cache article to clear your Jive application's cache
After reindexing Search and Recommender and clearing the application cache, new groups will appear in the 'Select Place' Group options.
